Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way, but the data stays in your browser and is not sent to the server automatically. Vliegparkeren only uses what is needed to make the website work the way you expect.
What we use
- NEXT_LOCALE (cookie): remembers whether you view the website in Dutch or English. Functional; removed when you close your browser.
- theme (local storage): remembers whether you chose a light or dark theme. Functional; stays until you clear it.
- vp_session (cookie): only when you log in. Keeps you logged in and cannot be read by scripts. Functional; valid for up to 30 days or until you log out.
No tracking
We currently use no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies, and we do not load any third-party trackers. Because we only use functional cookies, we do not ask for consent through a cookie banner. If we ever start using other cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
After clicking through
If you click through to a provider, you end up on their website. The cookies and cookie policy of that provider, or of the affiliate network that handles the link, apply there.
Deleting cookies
You can delete cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. The website keeps working, but your language and theme choice are reset and you are logged out.
