Guide
Schiphol is the largest airport in the Netherlands and lies in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, south-west of Amsterdam. If you drive to Schiphol and are away for a few days or weeks, your car has to stay somewhere. Besides the car parks of the airport itself, there are providers in the surrounding area, for example in Hoofddorp, Rozenburg and Schiphol-Rijk. On this page you can see which providers we have collected for Schiphol, roughly what they cost and how they work.
At Schiphol you will mainly come across two options. With valet parking you drive to the terminal yourself and hand over your car and key to a member of staff there. They park the car and bring it back to an agreed spot after your trip. You lose very little time on departure and arrival, but you do hand over your key.
With shuttle parking you drive to a car park nearby yourself. You leave the car there and a shuttle bus takes you to the departure hall. After your trip the shuttle picks you up again. Allow some extra time for the ride and any waiting time with this option. The transfer time a provider states is shown with each offer in the list.
For every provider we calculate a total price for the number of days you park. Many prices are indicative: we derived them from publicly published rates and show them with a ± and the date on which we checked them. Providers change their prices regularly, especially in busy periods. You always see the final price at the provider before you pay. To see the price for your own travel dates, enter your drop-off and pick-up moment in the search form.
Price matters, but it is not the only thing. Also look at:
During the school holidays and around public holidays it is busy around Schiphol. Providers have a limited number of spaces and some raise their prices when demand goes up. If you already know your travel dates, it is better to compare and book well in advance. When booking, also check carefully which address you need to go to and what to do if your flight is delayed.
Vliegparkeren is a comparison site. You reserve and pay with the provider itself; the confirmation and the arrival instructions also come from them. If you are looking for a specific type of parking, also have a look at our pages on valet parking, shuttle parking, cheap parking and long-term parking at Schiphol.

There is no fixed rule. During school holidays and around public holidays spaces fill up faster and prices can rise, so it is better to book well in advance then. If you book early, do check the provider's cancellation terms.
How a provider handles this is set out in its terms. Pass on your flight number if the provider asks for it and contact the provider in case of a delay, so the shuttle or the valet driver is ready at the right moment.
You book and pay directly with the provider. We send you to their website; your reservation, confirmation and arrival instructions come from them. Comparing with us is free.
